MANCHESTER -- Lorraine V. Taggart, 96, died Oct. 27, 2008, at Mt. Carmel Health Care Center from complications of Alzheimer's disease.
She was born in Manchester on Aug. 21, 1912, to Alfred and Paula LaVallee. She lived most of her life in Manchester and had resided in Nashua for 20 years.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Albert Beauchesne, who died in 1967, and her second husband, William Taggart, who died in 2001.
IN HER LIFE: She leaves a daughter, Marti Taggart and her husband, Bruce, of Cape Cod, Mass.; two grandsons, Scott Taggart of Columbus, Ohio, and Mark Taggart and his life partner, Michael Hoyle, of Ogunquit, Maine; a sister, Gilberte Edick of Pennsylvania; two brothers, Lucien LaVallee and Julien LaVallee, both of Tarpon Springs, Fla.; nieces and nephews.
The Taggart family sincerely thanks the second floor staff of Mt. Carmel for the remarkable love and caring given to Lorraine the past 11 years.
SERVICES: Calling hours are from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Mt. Carmel Health Care Center, 235 Myrtle St., Manchester.
Services will be private, with burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
